Curry Puff

Curry Puff is a Malay and Hainanese hawker dish loved across Singapore. Here is what it is, what to order and where to try it, starting at Punggol Coast Hawker Centre.

What is Curry Puff?

Flaky pastry folded and crimped by hand, filled with curried potato, chicken and a slice of egg. A favourite tea-time snack, now made with sardine and cheese fillings too. Curry Puff is part of Singapore's hawker culture, recognised by UNESCO in 2020 as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
