Mee Rebus
Mee Rebus is a Malay & Javanese hawker dish loved across Singapore. Here is what it is, what to order and where to try it, starting at Geylang Bahru.
What is Mee Rebus?
Mee rebus means "boiled noodles". Yellow noodles sit in a thick, sweet gravy made with sweet potato, topped with egg, lime and green chilli. Mee Rebus is part of Singapore's hawker culture, recognised by UNESCO in 2020 as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
